In a unique career across four decades, James Dein has experienced and explored many facets of his multi-media business. It’s a message-savvy mix of broadcast media primarily radio, television, special events, festivals, diverse advertising and branding strategies, site activation and sponsorship development.
Through it all, James has demonstrated a highly credible ability to network at different business levels. To work effectively with both backstage and front of house as it were.
James has maintained senior management roles with Rural Press Limited and DMG Radio during this period. He headed up radio stations and directed advertising campaigns, launched and maintained Ministry of Sound syndicated radio for a period of 8 years through a network of 150 transmitters in Australia and 18 markets across New Zealand.
He has been closely associated with the organisation of more than 120 special events through QLD including agricultural field days, home shows & exhibitions together with an extensive array of music concerts, festivals, tours and gala events from small audiences to festivals of 55,000 patrons.
During these years James has been active in community service serving on boards, organisations, sporting clubs and charities.
James works on sponsorship development for Chugg Entertainment and Rob Potts Entertainment Edge working with the CMC Rocks Queensland Music Festival and consults to different projects across Queensland.
